Natural User Interfaces (NUI) refer to a form touch, speech, or gesture-controlled systems in the human-computer interaction domain. The goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of theoretical, conceptual frameworks and practical methodologies used in the design and development processes for Natural User Interfaces. The project-based laboratory will introduce the students to physical computing techniques and technologies such as motion sensors and solderless electronics. It will, as well, give insight into ideation and evaluation methods for non-screen based interfaces, focusing on the role of the body and the senses.

You will be able to see the full range of optional courses during the course registration period. As not all topics are published yet at the time of the application, please simply select "AWE - General Course" on the learning agreement and then apply for your specific General Course(s) before the semester starts. Please note that "AWE" have limited places, acceptance is not guaranteed.

Our language department offers a wide range of courses - from General German classes, focusing on the basics of grammar and conversation, to more advanced German courses with specializations in the fields of Design, Business and Technology. Based on your German level determined in the intensive course at the beginning of the semester, you may enroll in a German language class during the semester.
