General Student Advisory Service
Dear applicants, please do not ask when you get an answer regaring your application and refrain from inquiring about your application status. Please be patient - we know it's hard! If you have other questions or problems regarding your application or enrolment please contact the Student Service Centre. Please give our colleagues about 2 weeks to reply. The General Student Advisory Service does not have access to your data. Thank you!

- Admission or refusal
- Enrolment and Health insurance (Health insurance is mandatory for students in Germany. A health insurance has to report your insurance status. Hence, it's not something you can report to HTW Berlin.)
Personal consultations (no appointment necessary)
We don't make appointments. We have open consultation hours instead.
Treskowallee campus, building A
Our buildings are closed during the non-teaching periods. Plese use either the entrance A4 (main entrance) or A7 (courtyard, lift) for our personal consultation hours.
- Thursdays: 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (room 151)
Wilhelminenhof campus, building B
- Tuesdays: 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. (room 004)
- Wednesdays: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (room 004)

Telephone consultations
We answer brief questions and are available for longer consultation sessions on (030) 5019-2254:
- Mondays and Fridays: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Wednesdays: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- On Wednesdays and Fridays, questions can also be answered in English.
- Please check our German website version for changes regarding our availability.
If the answering machine comes on during our office hours, it means that we are already engaged in a consultation session. Please try again later on.

Video consultations
Our video consultations take place by appointment. Please contact us in advance stating your specific request by emailing studienberatung@htw-berlin.de. We will then send you an email with the time slot and the access data.
