This workshop is designed to equip international students with essential tools and knowledge for successfully entering the German job market. Participants will be guided through an overview of career entry opportunities in Germany, with a focus on understanding the distinctive characteristics of different workplace environments—from the agility of start-ups, to the specialized opportunities within mid-sized companies, to the structure and stability of large corporations.
Throughout the session, you will be introduced to effective job search strategies, including practical approaches to interpreting job postings so you can identify the best fit for your skills and interests. You’ll also gain insights into maximizing career opportunities through job fairs, LinkedIn, and other networking methods, building valuable connections with potential employers and professionals in your field.
Additionally, the workshop will provide an overview of key legal requirements for international employees, covering aspects such as work permits, residency regulations, and employment rights. This essential information will help you navigate the legal landscape with confidence as you plan your career in Germany.
This workshop is open to all international students who are ready to make the transition from campus life to a successful career in Germany.
