Cyber Security

• Lecturing (in English) in the study programmes Cyber Security and Business as well as Business Computing
  • Mentoring of degree thesis
  • Responsibility for open-source licences and training systems
• In-depth involvement in cyber security training with a focus on information security
• Further development of the study programme as well as the university

• Education and qualifications
• o   university degree
• o   PhD
• Professional experience
  • at least 5 years of professional experience, 3 of which have to be obtained outside of an academic context
  • experience in adult education
• Proven expertise and qualifications in at least 2 of the following:
  • Safety and security in IT systems
  • Critical Infrastructure Protection
  • Digital forensics
  • Information security
  • Cryptography
  • Distributed systems
• Ability to convey knowledge in cyber security to students with only little prior knowledge in IT
• Excellent command of the English language
• The new English-language study programme in Cyber Security and Business bridges the current gap in academic training in said field. It is to provide knowledge in IT security, economic know-how and legal competence. As a professor you will be able to further develop your own focus in teaching and research.
