Computer Architecture and Computer Systems
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program in Computer Engineering
We are looking for a qualified and team-oriented individual to cover the following fields of expertise by holding lectures and carrying out applied research in our study programme of Computer Engineering:
- Realization and operation of homogeneous and heterogeneous computer architectures and computer systems
- Architecture of microprocessors and special purpose processors (e.g. for signal processing and machine learning)
- Programming in C and C++ as well as interface and driver programming
Your tasks
- Holding lectures in the above-mentioned subject areas and in foundation courses in our department
- Acquisition and implementation of industry or third-party funded research projects
- Active participation in the academic self-governance of the faculty and the university
Your profile
- Completed university degree in the field of computer engineering or a related field of study and fulfillment of the recruitment requirements according to §100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act
- Profound knowledge and practical experience – preferably acquired in industry – in the above-mentioned key areas
- Ability and willingness to teach courses in German and ideally also in English
- Also desired are
- Interest in dealing with students and passing on knowledge
- Willingness to participate in development of the faculty research profile and to actively acquire and carry out research projects
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work together on a wide range of topics within the faculty
